TWi is delighted to announce that Toni Ressaire has joined our leadership team. Toni brings a wealth of experience to the role of Project Director. TWi has grown over the past few years and is now working with some of the world’s leading software and life sciences companies, supporting them to achieve their goals through the development of clear, concise, and audience-focused content.
After working with Toni in 2019, TWi CEO Brian O’Neill believes “Toni’s values align with those of TWi, and now is the right time for someone with Toni’s skills and experience to lead our division that serves new clients, while also helping us to achieve our innovation objectives.”
Toni also believes now is the right time to step into this pivotal role. “It’s always been my goal to provide quality to clients, while taking advantage of the latest advances in technology to strategically deliver information more effectively to users. I discovered at TWi a team of like-minded individuals. I’m delighted to join a forward-thinking organisation committed to the same goals,” she says.
Toni has worked as a consultant, trainer, lecturer, and information developer and is highly regarded as a leader in the technical communication industry. At the TCUK awards ceremony in 2018, Toni was awarded the prestigious Horace Hockley award for her contribution to the technical communication industry. Her experience has brought her all over the world working with technology companies pushing the boundaries of technical communication. She has been a partner and consultant with Adobe Technical Communication and MadCap. She was the first technical communicator at Rosetta Stone, a multi-national language learning software company, where she led the team’s transformation to topic-based authoring and single-sourced documentation in the early days of multi-platform publishing. Since then, she has worked on many traditional and emerging technology projects. Her former company, Info4Design, was dedicated to research, training, and designing information for emerging technologies.
Toni is a co-founder of the Information 4.0 Consortium and Tech Writers Without Borders. Tech Writers Without Borders is a volunteer organisation that supports not-for-profit projects with technical communication services, such as volunteer Covid-19 projects. She is also a lecturer in Information Development and Design at Cork Institute of Technology.
